You'll need:
- Salt
- Food coloring
- Glue
- Canvas/construction paper
- Writing tool
- Paint brush
Draw your snowflake outlines on your paper with your writing utensil, then outline them with your glue. Add plenty of salt to your glue snowflake outlines and then let dry. Once dry, use an eye dropper or paintbrush to add your food coloring to the salt!
Kids love to watch the colors spread through the salty crystals, and there is plenty of opportunity to work on fine motor skills. Salt Painted Snowflakes are a great project to tackle on a cold winter day!☃️
